This was in the hospital, right after she was born. He didn't know what to do with her, but he definitely wanted to touch her!
When we brought her home, he was very interested in her and wanted to poke her all over. He was quite interested in her!
When Daddy put her on the floor, Logan was so excited!
Two days later, and still VERY interested in touching her.
But, you know, babies aren't always quiet. He figured out quite fast that the pacifier was a great way for making the baby quiet! Logan loves helping out, but doesn't always know exactly how to do it...
Unfortunately for Logan, the Soothies pacifiers are hard to hold. He holds onto the wrong end and can't get it in her mouth. He just kind of shoves it on her face. Obviously, Abby really doesn't appreciate it ;o)This was the kids' first bath together. Logan, being the great big brother he is, helped me wash her with a washcloth.
Now that Abby is more than a week old, Logan thinks it's okay to try to pick her up, just like Mommy and Daddy do. She's a little heavier than she looks, Logan!
So now I have to keep an eye on Logan and his little sister... He brought two of his knives from his kitchen playset and put them on her stomach. He then would put them back when she would move and they would fall off. I might watch too many episodes of Forensic Files!!
Abby and her knives from her big brother.
Logan is really such a great helper. He loves to bring us bottles for her and he pushes her in her swing when she's in it. He is doing a really good job as Abby's big brother.
