Abby was working on transferring pompoms from a bowl into an ice cube tray. She loved it -- spent a lot of time scooping them up and enjoying every moment!

Abby has two tutus that she got from Uncle Ben and Emalee. Logan found them tonight and he and Abby both put them on. Our two little princesses!

Tonight was our church's annual meatball supper. Logan loved the dessert part -- and ended up with quite an amusing mustache ;o)

Uncle Nana and Jessica came over to play with the kids for a while. Logan loves playing football with him, and here is a wonderful picture where the ball is almost going to hit Jessica in the face!!

Today was Logan's first day in underwear!!! It didn't go too badly -- just an accident or two, but this is a turning point in his childhood, for sure!

Jim had a fundraiser project that he had to do for his Master's Degree and his was to raise money for a youth group and a local food pantry. He and his group did a bowl-a-thon, so our whole family went to help out! Here are Logan and Abby bowling with Bapa and Zach!

We brought out the Moon Dough today and played with our new farm set that Logan got for Christmas. Poor Abby was getting tired and kept trying to suck her fingers with Moon Dough all over her!

Logan loves reading before bed. I'm not sure if he loves it so much because he really loves books, or because it prolongs bedtime ;o) He loves the "Five Little Monkeys" books!

Abby's hair is finally long enough for a ponytail! This was the first time I was able to get all of her hair up in one big ponytail -- I thought it was pretty cute!

Jim and I took the kids to the children's museum today! Logan found this wheel in the "Healthy Kids" section of the museum. Since we watch "Price is Right" nearly every morning, he thought this wheel was the same as the one on the show. He'd spin it and say, "Oh, no! Lost!" or "Yay! Win!" My game show loving continues to the next generation!

While we were putting the kids to bed on Sunday night, we noticed that there was blood in Abby's urine. She had a fever for two days, but she also had a cold, so we weren't worried until we saw the diaper. We called the on-call doctor, who told us to go straight to Children's Hospital to make sure she was okay. She was fine and now we have a couple-hundred-dollar bracelet to show for the visit :o)

Oh, my football-loving two-year-old... Jim went to the grocery store and got these game tickets with his purchase. Logan loved them because they had the Packers on them. He treated them like game tickets and was passing them around and deciding who would go to the "game" with him!

I taught second grade for three years before becoming a stay-at-home mom. One of my very favorite things to do for my classroom was to make file folder games. Okay, really, I just love to color :o) I found some file folder games for preschoolers online, so now my kids will get to start playing these!

We got our first good snowfall of the season today! Before nap, the kids and I went out to play in it! We've got the best steep little hill in our backyard that is just perfect for sledding (and as I am writing this, the neighbor kids have come by to ask if they could sled in it already!). Poor Abby -- all of our hand-me-down snow clothes are "boy" clothes.

But I have to say, getting two kids ready to play outside is a task and a half. Boots are ridiculously difficult to get on my kids' feet. So as if getting boots, snowpants, hats, mittens, and coats on two wiggly toddlers isn't a workout in itself, I spent our time outside dragging a sled up a hill and around the yard. Lucky kids I have to be pulled around like that!

Logan is in his second session of gymnastics. He loves the bars and swinging to hit the cone over!

And yes, we're sporing the Packers clothing again. Apparently the Packers t-shirt underneath his jersey wasn't enough. I swear, this kid would live in Packers clothing if I'd let him!

Our family got a Babycakes cake pop maker for Christmas and so today, Logan and I tried it out. I burned my finger, just seconds after reminding Logan not to touch, since it's hot. Follow your own advice, Mom! That little machine gets really hot -- even on the handles that you're supposed to touch!

But we did create some yummy cake pops that Logan and Abby devoured (with a little help from Daddy, too!).

My kids got a ball pit and tunnel set for Christmas. They love playing in there and I think it's great to have such an interactive toy for our playroom for those cold winter months where playing outside isn't always an option. Abby loves her ballerina outfit -- twirling in that tutu is a favorite activity!

My mother-in-law got me a sewing machine for Christmas. I love crafting (my Cricut squeezed into the picture on the far right!) and I'm hoping that I can become at least decent on the sewing machine. I haven't sewn much in my life -- middle school FACE class and then a purse project that I did with my grandma probably eight or nine years ago. Here goes nothing! Let's hope it's not quite as addicting as scrapbooking and card-making!

Today was my dad's family's Christmas celebration back to my parents' hometown. We stopped and visited my mom's parents before going home. When it was time to leave, Abby kept going back and forth between my grandparents, giving lots of hugs! Here is Abby with my grandpa :o)

Logan has recently been going through a phase where he wants a bib any time Abby has one. He has a super cute tuxedo bib that my friend Ashley gave me at my baby shower years ago. We had some SpongeBob macaroni and cheese for lunch and he picked out the tuxedo bib. I guess it's a fancy lunch in his eyes!

The easiest way for me to put my kids to bed for their nap is by putting on one of their favorite shows (today was Mickey Mouse Clubhouse) and then telling them that when it's done, it's time for bed. Logan will actually say "Night-night time!" when it's done and turn off the TV himself. I put Abby to sleep first today. When I went to find Logan, he was already in his bed, covers on!

One of the very best things about having kids 15 months apart is how well they get along. They're also both "babies" and I love that. This was a picture that Logan insisted on me taking, and very willingly, I obliged.

Sidenote:
I'm sure it's pretty apparent, but most of my Project 365 pictures will more than likely be of my kids, since I'm a stay-at-home mom and most of my day is spent with my kiddos! :o)

We love watercolor paints in this house! I drew on the paper with white crayon first, and let them "discover" their names and lots of little pictures on their papers. Logan loved finding the football on his paper, no surprise!

My husband and I decided that we need to organize our baby clothes totes on our last day off together. While going through the clothes, I found some of my favorite baby clothes... *cue baby fever* This is my favorite newborn sleeper of Abby's. She willingly posed for a picture with it :o)

These are my two kids -- Logan and Abby. I'm so lucky to have these little ones. They are my whole world. I never thought I'd have two kids so close in age (only 15 months apart) and it certainly wasn't planned that way, but I wouldn't change it for anything. I absolutely love being a mommy to them.

Project 365

This year, I'm trying out Project 365, or in this year's case, Project 366. I'm definitely not creative or talented in the world of photography, but I enjoy using my cheap, old point-and-shoot to capture things that happen in life.

I can't promise to post daily -- two kids who are 2 1/2 and 1 1/2 prevent me from having the time to do that. But I do intend to update this on a weekly basis, or as often as I can.

So, here goes nothing!
