Long time gone

Would you believe it's hard to find time to blog with two kids under two years old?! :o)

Things have been going well for us. Abby is getting SO big! She rolled over two weeks ago while we were at Jim's grandma's house to visit. It was very exciting!

Logan is an incredible big brother. He loves his sister so much and is always helping out. He gets excited when we hear her cry in her room because he loves going in and saying "hi" to her.

Two weeks ago, Jim started grad school again, which was quite an adjustment for all of us. It's going to be tough for him with two little ones and a wife who stays at home and anticipates her husband coming home to give her a little break every day.

Jim is also really busy with finishing our basement. We're really hoping that it can be finished for Christmas. If it's not done by then, it has to be done by January because I'm having a Lia Sophia party and I want to host it in my newly finished basement :o)

I'm still not working and I really have mixed emotions about it. I miss teaching, that's for sure. However, I know that I could not work full-time with these kids and taking care of the house. As it is, I have a hard time taking care of our house!

I am bringing in some money, though, by babysitting. Logan's girlfriend comes over every day for a few hours, which has been lots of fun. To be honest, it's really not any more difficult than having my own two kids. She comes in the afternoons while Logan's napping, which is sometimes my only "productive" time during the day, but I enjoy playing with her, even though house work isn't getting done. Logan just loves playing with her and is learning how to share very well.
